As others have said, this is a wonderful watch for many reasons. Made of Titanium and steel, it is a proper large size man's watch, but not heavy to wear. The leather band attached to it is heavy duty and will last, and the watch is beautifully designed and eye catching. The bezel (outer ring) is a little loose but easy to turn, and the dial is surprisingly clear and easy to read due to the strong design of the sword hands. The luminosity is brilliant too, as these things go, and will last a decent period. (You will be able to read the watch for the first few hours at night after you switch the lights off. No watch, from any company, luxury brands included, really lasts very long.) It has a perpetual calendar, so once set, you never have to think about it again, as long as it gets enough light.

The watch does have some quirks. You require patience to set it. As others have pointed out, changing the settings requires you often to wait until the hands travel back or forth from whatever time they're currently set at, to the new function you're changing to. Be careful of date setting. Depending on the setting, you have to wait for a few revolutions of the smaller hands before the date window moves, one date. If you're changing the date from the 2nd to the 29th, you'll be there a while. This watch requires commitment! The alarm is not only soft, but SHORT! About 15 seconds at best. The watch is a not really a chronograph. Those extra sub-dials you see don't really function in that way. Yes, there is a limited chronograph function but it is so poorly designed so as to render the watch useless for that function. The second time zone is handy but the alarm is not sychronized to it.

On the plus side, the watch is accurate, never needs to be fiddled with once it's set AND as long as it gets regular light, is very comfortable to wear and gorgeous on the wrist. I changed out my stitching for a Hirsh carbon black strap with white stitching, and it looks fantastic. The lesson is, buy this watch if you'll wear it regularly and don't really care too much about the fiddly details. Casio Men's Pathfinder Triple Sensor Altimeter/Barometer/ Digital Compass Green Watch #PAG40-3V is a great instrument to have if you are a seasoned camper like me. I am a trekking enthusiast and like most trekkers know how to use instruments to my advantage and find my way to the destination...To this, I must admit, I was fairly surprised by the accuracy that PAG40-3V brings to the table. This watch gives fairly accurate readings for altitude, temperature, direction, atmospheric pressure etc. I read some negative reviews about people not being able to get accurate readings...I respectfully disagree. I have tested altimeter, barometer, thermometer and compass (which, I believe, are the four chief selling points of the watch) and, as I already said, the readings showed tolerably least or most of the times no deviation from actuals. All in all, a great piece.

One more thing. I tried Suunto (almost settled for X-Lander) and Timex offering similar features before I bought this. I was surprised to see that compared to Suunto (which is relatively expensive) this watch offered same performance in lesser price. I will miss "Tough Solar", but it doesn't hold me back from declaring pride in my new possession.

I plan to use this watch for Trekking in Laddakh towards the end of this year. I bought this watch for myself around Christmas 08; I needed a new watch. I was instantly attracted to the watch for the price. It was very inexpensive and I had "prime" so shipping was free.

Over all the time piece is great...especially for the price. It appears to be durable however the glass is weak at places. I happened to "bump" my watch against the wall (I'm still not sure how it happened)in just the right (or wrong) spot (I think this happened because the glass is slightly above the rim of the watch). This caused the glass to spider. I still use the watch daily. The only problem is the "spider" is right over the day reading; being forgetful I use that function regularly. It's slightly annoying to know Invicta warranties most everything but the glass.

I bought this watch over half year ago. Now I am replacing the watch with a timex.

Well, First off, I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally think this watch looks good. Yes, it is not well balanced overall, but for $20? come on, looks great at that price.

I think the watch had the potential to be great, but it missed a couple of important things.

Durability: The face scratches easy. so be careful. The buttons, well, after this half year I owned it, the buttons started to stick. Now, once in a while the button stays pressed and beeps itself to death. Granted I have taken the watch ocean swimming and exercising. On hindsight, maybe that was not a good idea. But they shouldn't say it is a 50M waterproof watch.

Design: The strap is not very flexible, I have small wrists and they can't quite wrap around my wrist. It works, but not very comfortable.

Utility: Well, I like that it has both analog and digital, the reason why I bought it. But the Interface to change the analog and the usage of the digital part is poorly designed. It is confusing and not very intuitive. I owned a similar timex and I've never had to read the manual. On DST date I always have to search for the manual on this one. That may be my fault for not getting it, but found it counter-intuitive for me. Someone mentioned about the light being useless, well it's kinda true. It is a cheap looking light that is very limited.

Overall, I think that the watch was a ok buy for a cheap watch. I have to say that I expected more from Casio. Considering how long it lasted, it is on the expensive side. But from the looks and features, it seemed cheap at first. I am giving it 3 starts because it may have been my fault. this is a great watch. it's nothing like the one i see at walmart on the stand that has 10 dollar watches... oh wait the prices rose =/

when i bought this watch the arm band was too big for me. i then emailed casio and they gave me a downloadable file that showed me how to get the size reduced.

Basically if you look under the armband, you will see arrows pointing outward, this means that you need to push the pin in the hole down and out in the direction of the arrow. I managed to push each of the pins out and it came out like 1 or 2 mm. then i used a nailclipper to pull it out and voila my watch is shortened. oh yeah don't forget the step about putting the metal piece back in so it holds it in place. since i didn't have any hard item to push it back in, i pounded the metal against my desk. for those who wanna be more gentle and are not economically restrained, you can use proper pliers and a jeweler's screwdriver for this (i used a psp screwdriver). that's how you can change the size of the armband. hope this helps. and this is a great watch i love the fact it's both analog and digital.
