I have had this watch since June 2008 ( 4 1/2 months). My last Timex had a similar band that disintegrated after a year and a half. I hate these integral watch bands! I need a digital watch with a timer because my toddler needs transition time ( "Three minutes then we have to go home from the park!"). I bought it in a stylish periwinkle blue because I get tired of the ugly gray and black bands, many digital watches have. The band is comfortable and I don't have to take it off to shower, etc, but it has turned from blue to an ugly greenish gray color. So, even though the watch works fine, I will have to buy a new watch because it looks awful. I don't want all the features as on an Ironman Timex, and my husband has forbidden me from buying a cheap watch of another brand because the instructions never work to set it.
