Is a heavy watch and looks nice which indicates that it has quality to it. The manufacturer is Egana of Switzerland (America) Corporation
phone # 1-800-542-6222 and it has a two-year warranty which does not cover the shipping or the batteries, cases, dials, crowns, crystals, clasp, bracelets, or straps. Basically nothing is covered except the time mechanism inside the case.
I set the time and the date and left the watch in the box it came in, three weeks later the watch is dead and the date indicated about 11 days ago. It may only be the battery but why take a chance.
If I change the battery myself I may void the warranty, and it would cost me a lot to ship it to the manufacturer for warranty service, and batteries are not covered.
